2024 Maschio Gaspardo Terremoto 3 350
Stubble cultivatorTERREMOTO 3 is a mounted stubble cultivator that is perfect for Minimum Tillage operations.
The rugged build allows for direct tillage even on hard ground, seedbed preparation and crop residue burial. With a working width ranging from 9.8 to 16.4 ft coupled with tractors with horsepower in the 110 to 300 range, there is always a combination ideally suited to your needs.
Safe performanceTERREMOTO 3 features a solid frame, which is fixed for versions up to 13.1 ft and hydraulically folded for widths ranging from 13.1 to 16.4 ft. The tines, which are arranged in three gangs, well spaced out and horizontally offset (11.8 in), are designed to overlap suitably to encourage correct soil flow. The option of setting two different tine angles, the addition of 12.2 in wings, and the shear bolt or NON STOP twin-spring safety systems together make it perfectly safe to work down to depths of 9.8 in.
Suitable for any seasonTERREMOTO 3 is versatile and can be used all year round. In summer, it is ideal for seedbed preparation, even on hard ground, for a second harvest; in autumn, for crop residue burial, even on damp soil; and lastly, in winter to spring, for roughing in both conventional and minimum-tillage systems.
Fine tilthTeamed with the rear row of 20 inches discs mounted on silent-block shock absorbers, the implement incorporates crop residue into the soil, while the rear roller levels the surface, closing any furrows. Once TERREMOTO 3 has passed through, the ground is thoroughly prepared in any season, no matter what the soil type: from clay to sand, from peat to rock.
Features may include:
SPECIAL-PROFILE TINEThe unique shape of the trashboard allows the tine to intercept part of the soil and throw it forwards, subsequently burying it in the same pass. This results in a wave effect that increases soil-finishing capacity from the very first pass.
TWO WORKING POSITIONSDepending on soil hardness and tractor power, the tines can be set to 2 working positions: in the first position (1), the tine has a more aggressive tip rake angle, to intercept more soil; while in the second position (2), the rake angle is more acute for a lower power requirement.
LONG-LASTING TIPTo give long service life, even when working on tough soils, we have tempered steel tips with a tungsten coating for greater abrasion resistance.
LIFE-SAVER BOLTAn effective and cost-effective safety bolt, great for soils with little debris, protects the frame's structure. In the event of accidental impact with roots and rocks, the bolt snaps, allowing the tine to kick up. In this case, the tine is very simple to repair and designed for easy access, requiring you just to replace the bolt.
NON-STOP VERSIONFor improved working comfort and greater versatility in debris-rich soils, there is a NON STOP version with spring-loaded shock absorbers. During work in the field, the tine is protected by the spring, which triggers with pressures over 1102 lbs, rising until it has cleared the obstacle and then returning to the working position.
