SILVA is the rotary tiller with lateral offset via hydraulic adjuster which, while maintaining the features of MASCHIO rotary tillers, it is ideal for row spacing and under-crop work in vineyards and orchards with working widths between 5.2 ft and 6.9 ft.

The professional equipment set-up is found in details such as the more robust frame structure, the slip clutch PTO shaft and the 3-gears side drive gearbox that ensures constant transmission without loss of power and for the presence of the 4-speed gearbox. The side hydraulic offset allows choosing between the version with side or front skids, making it possible to work to a maximum depth of 8.7 in. The rear bonnet made with new oversized sheet metal ensure greater wear resistance, it has a curved design capable of ensuring perfect soil levelling in all conditions. The vineyard version has a rounded right edge for easier entry/exit from under-crop.

The rotor with 6 impeller blades per flange combined with hydraulic offset, makes it possible to carry out an extremely precise tillage even on crops with narrow distances on the row. Especially in viticulture, the risk of damaging the plant collar is reduced thanks to the front skids and the design of the rear bonnet with a bevelled edge.

The waterproof mechanical seals consist of two metal rings opposite each other and separated by a thin film of oil. This ensures total isolation of the rotor bearings from mud, water and dust. It is also possible to work in submersion in rice fields.

By changing the position of the gears in the central gearbox, it is possible to easily change the rotation speed of the rotor according to the type of soil.

Thanks to the hydraulic offset adjustment operated directly by the operator, SILVA makes it possible to also work under-crop, necessary both in vineyard and in orchard.
