TORO RAPIDO PLUS was created to meet the needs of the new generations of high power tractors. The up to 23 ft working widths make it possible to also dominate large surfaces when coupled with high power tractors up to 400 HP. Thanks to its HEAVY DUTY set-up, great reliability and durability, TORO RAPIDO PLUS competes with the highest-range models on the market.

TORO RAPIDO PLUS is characterised by a very solid, double skin frame structure, a feature of MASCHIO power harrows. The internal thickness of 0.23 in and the external thickness of 0.20 in allow greater rigidity and robustness without significantly increasing the weight. Made with high-strength steels, it ensures high performance in all conditions. The use of reinforced spherical roller bearings and the fully revised gearboxes, equipped with 6 bearings, ensure high resistance over time and greater stability. The picture is completed by HEAVY DUTY equipment such as the lateral cam PTO shafts, the more robust tine-holder shafts, and the thicker tines that hook onto tine-holders that are single-block castings.

The transmission and working parts are made with top quality materials and automated and high-precision production processes. The rotor shafts with tine support are turned by a single high-strength steel forged piece. The long 12.6 in tines are forged with tempered boron steel and machined in highly automated lines. Their profile is specially designed to maximise soil refinement in all conditions.

The extensive standard equipment provides the highest level performances. The patented QUICK tine release system: allows simple and fast replacement, in the field also, in four simple steps. While PLUS stone deflectors system, thanks to the presence of protective wedges, protects the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusions with stones or other debris that could block them.

Thanks to the arrangement of the rear transport wheels, available upon request, TORO is much easier to transport and, consequently, the tractor lifter is subjected to less strain.

The possibility of forming a combined seeder with CENTAURO cereal seed drill, together with the tines with tungsten carbide coating which increases abrasion resistance up to three times, allows TORO RAPIDO PLUS to achieve very high versatility of use and a record-breaking robustness.

The double-skinned tank frame (internal 0.24 in, external 0.20 in) increases the strength of the structure and prevents twisting without excessively increasing the weight.

Rotor shafts are spaced 9.8 in from each other (very narrow space compared to that of other competitors). The 4 rotors per metre ensure an excellent preparation of the seeding bed, even on tough and clayey soils.

The particular position of the rotors with diversified angles allows to gradually enter the ground, reducing the absorbed power, consumption and vibrations transmitted to the tractor. This results in longer component life and less maintenance.

Side protections are dampened on a spring, increasing the side excursion of the panels and facilitating the discharge of excess material. The spring can be easily adjusted via shear-pin.

With a rapid change of gears, it is possible to choose the final rotation speed of the tines.

The risk of overheating is minimised thanks to the presence of side wings and fans on each GEARBOX that help dissipate the heat.
