2024 Maschio Gaspardo Orso Rapido Plus Combi

ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI is the most efficient model of MASCHIO fixed power harrows, a concentrate of performance and reliability up to 13.1 ft wide in combination with tractors up to 300 HP. Suitable for continuous and heavy use thanks to its HEAVY DUTY type conformation, it can be combined with GASPARDO planters for cereals even on hard and poorly tilled soils.

ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI is characterised by a very solid, double skin frame structure, a feature of MASCHIO power harrows. The internal thickness of 0.23 in and the external thickness of 0.20 in allow greater rigidity and robustness without significantly increasing the weight. Made with high-strength steels, it ensures high performance in all conditions. The use of reinforced spherical roller bearings and the fully revised gearbox, equipped with 6 overall bearings, ensure high resistance over time and greater stability. The picture is completed by HEAVY DUTY equipment such as the lateral cam PTO shafts, more robust tine-holder shafts, and thicker tines that hook onto tine-holders that are single-block castings.

The transmission and working parts are made with top quality materials and automated and high-precision production processes. The rotor shafts with tine support are turned by a single high-strength steel forged piece. The long 12.6 in tines are forged with tempered boron steel and machined in highly automated lines.

The many standard features are enhanced by accessories worthy of a superior class equipment. The patented QUICK release system allows to quickly and simply replace the tines with the sole help of the supplied cam. While PLUS stone deflectors system, thanks to the presence of protective wedges, protects the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusions with stones or other debris that could block them.

ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI allows coupling with GASPARDO precision flow rate seed drills thanks to the hydraulic coupling, or in combination with DAMA, DAMA PLUS, ALIANTE and ALITALIA cereal planters.

ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI is at the top not only in terms of performance but also set-up: QUICK tine release, PLUS stone deflectors, increased gearbox, larger transmission shafts, more robust teeth and spherical roller bearings that combine robustness and reliability with easy maintenance. All this made it possible to increase load powers by 20%.

The double-skinned tank frame (internal 0.23 in, external 0.20 in) increases the strength of the structure and prevents twisting without excessively increasing the weight.

Rotor shafts are spaced 10 in from each other (very narrow space compared to that of other competitors). The 4 rotors per metre ensure an excellent preparation of the seeding bed, even on tough and clayey soils.

The particular position of the rotors with diversified angles allows to gradually enter the ground, reducing the absorbed power, consumption and vibrations transmitted to the tractor. This results in longer component life and less maintenance.

Side protections are dampened on a spring, increasing the side excursion of the panels and facilitating the discharge of excess material. The spring can be easily adjusted via shear-pin.

With a rapid change of gears, it is possible to choose the final rotation speed of the tines.
