DRAGO DC is the power harrow that is positioned at the centre of the range of rigid frame power harrows. The robustness, low weight, wide range of accessories and the possibility of use combined with GASPARDO planters for cereals, make it an ideal machine for coupling with medium power tractors up to 150 HP. The fixed working widths of up to 9.8 ft, allow for an easy transport in complete safety.

DRAGO DC is characterised by the renowned structure with double skin frame, a feature of MASCHIO power harrows. The internal thickness of 0.2 in in and the external thickness of 1/5 in allow greater rigidity and robustness without significantly increasing the weight. Made with high-strength steels, it ensures high performance in all conditions. The HEAVY DUTY equipment such as the PTO shaft and slip clutch and gearbox complete the picture. The latter, thanks to a quick change of gears, makes it possible to vary the number of rotor revolutions in order to always obtain the right refinement with the least effort.

The transmission and working parts are made with top quality materials and automated and high-precision production processes. The rotor shafts with tine support are turned by a single high-strength steel forged piece. The tines are forged with tempered boron steel and machined in highly automated lines. Their profile is specially designed to maximise soil refinement in all conditions. The tungsten carbide coating is optional to extend its life.

DRAGO DC allows coupling with GASPARDO precision flow rate seed drills thanks to the hydraulic coupling, or in combination with COMPAGNA, DAMA PLUS, ALIANTE and ALITALIA cereal planters. COMBI 1 and 2 versions are equipped with containment panels respectively with spring and parallelogram.

The roller is a fundamental application for the harrow: it adjusts the working depth and allows to perfectly level the soil. DRAGO DC offers up to five combinable rollers, allowing the farmer to opt for the best choice according to their needs.

The double-skinned tank frame (internal 0.23 in, external 0.20 in) increases the strength of the structure and prevents twisting without excessively increasing the weight.

Rotor shafts are spaced 10 in from each other (very narrow space compared to that of other competitors). The 4 rotors per metre ensure an excellent preparation of the seeding bed, even on tough and clayey soils.

The particular position of the rotors with diversified angles allows to gradually enter the ground, reducing the absorbed power, consumption and vibrations transmitted to the tractor. This results in longer component life and less maintenance.

Side protections are dampened on a spring, increasing the side excursion of the panels and facilitating the discharge of excess material. The spring can be easily adjusted via shear-pin.

With a rapid change of gears, it is possible to choose the final rotation speed of the tines.
