2024 Maschio Gaspardo Dominator DM Rapido Plus 3000

DOMINATOR DM power harrows have been created to meet the needs of medium-sized farms and contractors. They can be combined with medium-high power tractors for working widths between 9.8 and 13.1 inch and are particularly suitable for use in combination with GASPARDO seed drills for cereals.

DOMINATOR DM is characterised by the renowned structure with double skin frame, a feature of MASCHIO power harrows. The internal thickness of 0.23 in and the external thickness of 1/5 in allow greater rigidity and robustness without significantly increasing the weight. Made with high-strength steels, it ensures high performance in all conditions. The HEAVY DUTY equipment such as the PTO shaft and slip clutch, more robust tine-holding shafts, ON GRIP tines and speed gearbox complete the picture. The latter, thanks to a quick change of gears, allows to vary the rotation speed of the tines according to the required level of refinement.

The transmission and working parts are made with top quality materials and automated and high-precision production processes. The rotor shafts with tine support are turned by a single high-strength steel forged piece. All the gears of the case hardened and tempered transmission tank. The long 11.8 in tines are forged with tempered boron steel and machined in highly automated lines. Their profile is specially designed to maximise soil refinement in all conditions. The ON GRIP version available on request or, to extend its life, the tungsten carbide coverage.

The many standard features are enhanced by accessories worthy of a superior class equipment. The patented QUICK tine release system: replacement is simple and fast with the sole help of the supplied cam. Thanks to the protective wedges, PLUS stone deflectors system protects the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusions with stones or other debris that could block them.

DRAGO DC allows coupling with GASPARDO precision flow rate seed drills thanks to the hydraulic coupling, or in combination with COMPAGNA, DAMA, DAMA PLUS, ALIANTE and ALITALIA cereal planters. COMBI 1 and 2 versions are equipped with containment panels respectively with spring and parallelogram.

The double-skinned tank frame (internal 0.23 in, external 0.20 in) increases the strength of the structure and prevents twisting without excessively increasing the weight.

Rotor shafts are spaced 10 in from each other (very narrow space compared to that of other competitors). The 4 rotors per metre ensure an excellent preparation of the seeding bed, even on tough and clayey soils.

The particular position of the rotors with diversified angles allows to gradually enter the ground, reducing the absorbed power, consumption and vibrations transmitted to the tractor. This results in longer component life and less maintenance.

Side protections are dampened on a spring, increasing the side excursion of the panels and facilitating the discharge of excess material. The spring can be easily adjusted via shear-pin.

With a rapid change of gears, it is possible to choose the final rotation speed of the tines.

Seal rings specially designed for the application and highly tested are the result of decades of experience. The composition with cellular polyurethane makes them highly reliable.
