2024 Maschio Gaspardo Veloce 250

VELOCE is the lightweight MASCHIO disc harrow, designed to work down to a maximum depth of 3.9 inches both for preparing seedbeds at the soil finishing stage and for crop residue management in minimum tillage applications. Available with widths up to 19.7 ft, it can be hooked up to tractors with horsepower in the 65 to 240 range.

VELOCE is a lightweight disc harrow featuring 20.5 inches discs arranged in two gangs facing in opposite directions. The wide 31.5 inches spacing between the gangs ensures optimal soil mixing for perfect crop residue handling in any working condition. Effective on soil and efficient on a field scale, VELOCE delivers high output and low consumption levels, given its speed of around 9.3 miles per hour.

Discs are 20.5 inches in diameter, and come in an aggressive or less aggressive version, to be chosen based on the soil type. They are individually cushioned with 4 natural rubber silent block shock absorbers that, in conjunction with the SKF bearing-Agri Hub assembly, ensure unbeatable reliability and low maintenance. The bearing is protected against the ingress of dust, mud and dirt by a special seal and a screw-on cover, which ensure unbeatable reliability. The hub has been designed to offer maintenance-free top performance!

The frame features two gangs with a significant spacing (31.5 inches) and ensures optimal handling of soil and large amounts of residue. As it works across the field, the folding VELOCE keeps its wings open and rigid to enable uniform tillage across the whole working width. The generous containment panels stop ridges forming at the edges of the area being tilled and have a fixed and a floating position.

With an extensive range of rear rollers to choose from, you can be sure of perfect soil levelling to ensure a uniform seedbed. In addition to adjusting working height by means of mechanical jacks, the rear roller can be fitted, on request, with a hydraulic adjustment system that can be controlled from the comfort of the tractor's cab.

VELOCE's discs are made of high-strength boron steel to ensure less wear even on tough soils. The 20 in diameter provides a working depth of around 3.9 in. Having a less convex design, they can penetrate the ground more easily for the same power absorbed.

The disc support has been designed to promote the smoothest possible soil flow, both on the inside and outside, especially at high speed. The slightly curved shape improves absorbption of roughness for improved stability.

The hubs on each disc revolve around special bearings with two rows of balls facing each other. The bearing is protected against the ingress of dust, mud and dirt by a special seal and a screw-on cover, which ensure unbeatable reliability. The hub has been designed to offer ultimate performance coupled with low maintenance: there is no need to grease the individual discs at regular intervals!

Striking an excellent balance between compact design, weight and performance, each of VELOCE's discs is cushioned on a special Silent Block system: 4 cylinders made of high-strength rubber (high elastic energy absorption) make the whole disc harrow rigid, while still allowing it to cope with uneven ground. This system does not require any type of maintenance or greasing.
