2024 Maschio Gaspardo Maximetro 36

MAXIMETRO represents the largest model of the entire range of GASPARDO planters. Thanks to over ten years’ experience in the precision planter sector and the versatility of MTR HD unit capable of planting in conditions of both minimally tilled and hard soils, MAXIMETRO model is available in the 36 row version with 27.6 in inter-row distance.

MTR HD planting unit is characterised by more robust structural solutions than the classic MTR unit such as the sturdy parallelogram connection system with AIR SPRING for the adjustment of the pressure of the single unit on the ground, the 14 in front disc coulter, the 14” furrow closing wheels and the 15.8 gal hopper.

The trailed type frame, with front folding side wings, uses the floating function that allows planting even on not perfectly flat ground. The drawbar, in addition to its main function, also acts as a load-bearing structure on which the imposing 1981 gal centralized fertilizer hopper is mounted, whose weight is discharged to the ground by means of two tracks for transport.

The mechanical transmission is based on the renowned homokinetic joint system which requires no maintenance. Thanks to an electromechanical system, the transmission of each unit can be conveniently interrupted thanks to the quick release exclusion of the cardan shaft or by command, allowing in this case the control of the sections. A hydraulic drive system divided into three sections is available on request.

To increase work efficiency in the field and reduce the number of passes in the field, the fertilizer spreader is available with single disc coulter.

The system of air bearings mounted on each single element with centralised control from the tractor cab allows to exert a ground pressure up to 551.1 lbs.

Hopper of the individual units increased to 15.8 gal.

The system created is made of cast steel and uses V1 x 14” rubber wheels.

The disc coulter opens the soil while the trash wheels release the residue along the planting row to facilitate seed placement.

The semi-mounted three-section tool holder frame allows to better follow the contour of the ground.

The idle rubber track system significantly reduces ground trampling. Furthermore, there is no risk of punctures and consequent waste of time.
