2024 Maschio Gaspardo Opera 300
Pneumatic combined seed drill with disc harrowThe OPERA 300 is an innovative compact combination seed drill designed for sowing cereals on hilly terrain and small plots.
Equipped with a 3,000-liter hopper, it is ideal for farms and contractors seeking agility and practicality without compromising on excellent results. Available in a 3-meter version with 24 rows, it is designed for tractors with power ratings between 120 and 180 HP. By combining two operations in a single pass (seedbed preparation and sowing), the OPERA 300 delivers superior efficiency in the field, reducing operating times, fuel consumption, and soil compaction for more sustainable and productive farming. Cutting-edge technology harnessing the full potential of Precision Farming.
The Strength of SimplicityThe OPERA 300 is designed to offer intuitive operation and simple controls, ideal for farmers seeking ease of use without compromising performance. Every component is engineered to ensure reliability and operational simplicity, making it the perfect seed drill for farms and contractors working on hilly terrain or smaller plots. Thanks to the trailed coupling and two-point hitch, road transfers and headland turns become smooth and fast operations.
Efficiency on Hilly TerrainThe compact structure and robust design of the OPERA 300 make it the ideal choice for working on uneven or minimally tilled ground. The large 800 mm diameter transport wheels ensure stability and excellent soil consolidation in the seedbed, even on steep slopes. The durable frame guarantees long-lasting performance and the ability to handle challenging working conditions with minimal effort.
Uniform and Consistent SowingThe OPERA 300’s seeding bar, featuring 24 rows with a 12.5 cm row spacing, is designed to ensure constant and uniform seeding depth. With a hydraulic pressure adjustment system that can reach up to 110 kg per unit and self-cleaning press wheels, the machine guarantees even emergence, even in wet or compacted soil conditions.
Combining Operations in a Single PassThe OPERA 300 integrates soil preparation and sowing into a single pass, minimizing operating time (thanks to a working speed of up to 12 km/h) and reducing soil impact. The two rows of 460 mm discs, tilted and widely spaced, ensure excellent soil preparation even in the presence of crop residues, while the seed-covering harrow completes the process with perfect seed coverage, promoting uniform and vigorous emergence.
Features may include:
DISC HARROWThe OPERA 300’s harrow consists of two rows of 460 mm discs, designed to ensure effective soil preparation even in the presence of crop residues. The wide spacing between the discs allows for optimal soil flow, while their tilt and concavity reduce soil accumulation, delivering excellent performance even on wet or heavy soils.
RUBBER WHEELSThe OPERA 300 is equipped with two sets of wheels that optimize the working process. The second set, with large-diameter, wide-section transport wheels, consolidates the soil, preparing a uniform seedbed and enhancing moisture transfer.
SIMPLE ADJUSTMENTSThe seeding bar consists of 24 elements with hydraulic pressure adjustable up to 110 kg. Each unit is equipped with a press wheel to maintain constant seeding depth. Intuitive and precise adjustments make it easy to adapt to different soil conditions and optimize performance.
LARGE HOPPERThe OPERA 300’s 3,000-liter hopper is designed to ensure high operational autonomy, even on hilly or fragmented plots. Its capacity and practical design, developed in collaboration with the Italian Design School, allow for quick loading and easy product handling, increasing operational efficiency.
